Hello and thank you for visiting my website!

I am a photographer based in New York City on the Upper East Side and specialize in newborns, children, and families. As a mom myself, I know how quickly childhood changes and strive to capture those beautiful and precious moments along the way. My initial training was as a portrait painter, but I discovered the art of photography after my two children were born. They continue to inspire me every day and are now 14 and 16. Time flies!

I also work as a newborn photographer at Lenox Hill Hospital for Bella Baby Photography, a nationwide company. I have worked there since 2017, photographing more than 3,200 newborns in the hospital and in private homes. My clients often comment on my patience with babies and children of all ages. I’ve completed newborn baby safety training specific to photography and am also up to date on all vaccinations in accordance with hospital policy.

I was born and raised in California, primarily in the Bay Area. In high school, my family moved to Maui, Hawaii, which was an amazing experience! I went to Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and majored in Fine Art and double-minored in Dance/Theater and Creative Writing.

After college, I began doing portrait commissions of children while working as an assistant preschool and kindergarten teacher and teaching ballet to children. I have always loved working with children, and throughout this time—and since the age of four—I was also training and performing as a dancer, my other passion! I decided to take the plunge and move to NYC to pursue a career in dance and musical theater. I performed as a dancer and actress in theater, TV commercials, print, television shows, and film. I still dance and act today.

All these experiences—being an artist, teacher, performer, photographer, and mom—have shaped the way I work with families today. I believe the best photographs capture who your family is and the connection you share.
